The journey of HEIMPLANET began with the idea of a new tent concept that occurred during a surf trip in Portugal. In 2011 the first inflatable tent THE CAVE was launched, which disrupted the tent market.
Since then, HEIMPLANET has presented a whole range of products, which focuses on a simple formula –for every trip and everyday. By combining the best technical features available with a clean and simple design, HEIMPLANET products aim to work in a great variety of surroundings and situations. How did you hear about Mizu?
We were fans of Jussi Oksanen´s idea to save waste and have a bottle to reuse. It is a simple and great idea.
What about Mizu made us a great fit for your brand?
The focus of Mizu on the idea of saving waste just made sense to us and we wanted to share this idea. When we design products, we try to create something unique, we try to incorporate a novelty in our products. If we can´t find something better, we prefer to collaborate with the original.
What are you going to be using your Mizu custom products for?
We designed a whole collection of different designs already and we really like the canvas that the bottles offer us. It’s a great way to express the idea of HEIMPLANET and we are planning to do it in the future as well. Right now we are working on an installation a kind of fountain for our store in Hamburg. We want to offer fresh water for everyone. As long as you bring a reusable bottle, the water will be for free.
