How did you first hear about the Mizu Custom program?

With our roots and World HQ in Southern California, Mizu is right in our back yard so we had a lot of exposure to the brand, products, and ambassadors. We thought that custom water bottles would be a great welcome gift for our employees when we moved into our new office back in 2014 and that’s how it all began.

What about Mizu and their custom program made it a great fit for your brand?

Dragon identifies with the culture of Mizu and has ties with many of the Mizu ambassadors like Chris Benchetler, and Bryan Iguchi, so it was a prefect collaboration and opportunity to be part of something that our team riders also subscribe to. We were looking for a premium branding piece that would be memorable and that people would be excited to receive. We use our M8 bottles and coffee travelers as incentives to our VIP customers, employees, and accounts to leverage our branding inside and outside of the shop.

What is your favorite product in the Mizu line up and how did you choose your custom product?

We are really hyped on the new coffee traveler, and the classic M8 bottle. Since we are a global brand that thrives in the surf and snow culture, we chose the M8 to represent our summer incentives and the coffee traveler to represent our winter seasons. Plus, we want get people away from disposable plastics and using quality products.

Does your brand support a cause initiative?

We have supported many initiatives and always feel like it is important to do that as a brand. Right now we are supporting ISA Surfing, Surfrider Foundation, Coastal Defenders, SOS Outreach for snow goggles, and several community surf events for kids in San Clemente.

How does your brand live a Mizu Life?

We believe in individuality and being authentic. We test our product in the sun, snow, and dirt and try to experience the things we are portraying in our imagery and story telling. Getting out there, learning firsthand, and being part of our culture is what the Mizu Life seems to be about and so are we.
