This year for the 2016 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing (VTCS), we've partnered with the World Surf League (WSL) in a shared mission to eliminate plastic bottles from the event. Mizu will be donating 300 customized Mizu x Vans Triple Crown V6 insulated bottles to all the competitors and VIP’s attending the event. The event is held on the North Shore of Hawaii and runs through December 20, 206. Live coverage can be seen here: http://bit.ly/1NQ09QT

Because surfing is at the core of who we are at Mizu, we didn't want our giving back to stop there. We are teaming up with San Diego local, professional surfer and long-time environmentalist Rob Machado for this exclusive VTCS/WSL giveaway by donating $1,000 cash to The Rob Machado Foundation. The Rob Machado Foundation is aimed at educating our youth on the importance of sustainability practices, especially preserving our beaches.

Who will be the namesake of our $1,000 donation to the RMF? We are encouraging all event VIP's and Athletes who receive a Mizu to participate in a social campaign, aimed at spreading awareness of the importance of eliminating plastic waste. The goal is simple: spread the word of how they are choosing reusable over single-use at the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing this year and Mizu will make a donation to the Rob Machado Foundation on behalf of the winner!

How can you win this limited edition Mizu x Vans Triple Crown V6 bottle? All you have to do is sign up for our mailing list to receive all the latest Mizu news and we will be randomly selecting five winners to win a custom VTCS/WSL bottle, only previously available to Athletes and VIPs attending the world-famous 2016 Vans Triple Crown of Surfing event.
